Reputation
OnPay has received high ratings from users, averaging 4.8 out of 5 on G2 and 4.9 out of 5 on Capterra. Users particularly appreciate the ease of use and excellent customer service provided by OnPay.
From my personal experience, OnPay’s customer service stood out, especially over the phone. While responses were slightly delayed through the chat function, the phone representatives were quick to assist. They provided clear answers to my questions and were genuinely helpful.
Our Experience
To test OnPay’s platform, I used both a Windows laptop with the Google Chrome browser and an Android mobile device. The interface was clean and user-friendly, making navigation a breeze. The dashboard displayed essential information like team members, upcoming payroll runs, and recent runs.
However, I faced some challenges with the warnings and time off data synchronization. Resolving warnings related to vacation time approval proved confusing at times. Customer service clarified that the warnings indicated vacation time already included in the payroll run. Yet, in other instances, the system displayed “Approve & Include,” making it simple to resolve the warning.
Additionally, it’s crucial to ensure the correct employees are included for each payroll run, especially in biweekly payrolls. You can manually select employees or use the “select all” checkbox to include everyone.
Once payroll is submitted, you receive a confirmation email, ensuring a completed payroll run.
Who Should Use It?
OnPay caters to small businesses seeking a comprehensive payroll and HR solution with an affordable pricing structure. If you’re looking for a straightforward and cost-effective option, OnPay is the perfect fit.
